Since writing \u201cMemoria,\u201d many memories have been swirling around in me. Some are memories of life events I\u2019d long forgotten. Others are revelations. This morning, I began to feel I had something I want to say about memory! It\u2019s this:<\/span><\/p>\n \u2013 \u201cIf you let yourself dwell in memory, you will be surprised!\u201d<\/b><\/p>\n I\u2019ve found that reawakened memories start something in me \u2013 much in the same way that reading does. Memories can send you down a road once traveled <\/span>and<\/span><\/i> deliver you to a new location.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n What we\u2019ve read also becomes a \u201cmemory\u201d of what we\u2019ve read. It\u2019s not only in the book anymore. <\/span>It\u2019s<\/span><\/i> in you<\/span><\/i> now. Whether you have good recall or not, it\u2019s not outside of you. From the <\/span>inside<\/span><\/i>, your memory continues to bring forth not only scenes and themes of your life, but phrases of wisdom and verses of poetry.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Memory roams continents and zeros in like a pinprick of light.<\/span><\/p>\n Memories expand and contract like our breathing and our birthing.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Personified into a \u2018she,\u2019 \u201cMemoria,\u201d brings nuances and expands our themes from the inside out. In her wake, we have greater access and understanding of our inner knowing.<\/span><\/p>\n Memory is like unity.
